GIM University Act, 2026

To establish a private university in the State of Goa with the objective of promoting and conceptualising a paradigm shift in the education and allied development sectors through the advancement of outstanding leadership, research, knowledge, and ideas.The State Legislative Assembly of Goa passed a Bill on 15 January 2026, known as the GIM University Act, 2026, which received the assent of the Governor of Goa on 26 February 2026. The Act shall come into force on such date as the Government may appoint by notification in the Official Gazette.
