Junta de Comercio Externo

Junta de Comercio Externo, an artificial juridical entity created by Decree No. 35849 dated 6 September 1946 and subsequently restructured by Legislative Diploma No. 1959 dated 28 December 1959, was declared defunct by Order No. F-1-3-70-GHB(I) dated 10 December 1970.However, on 5 July 1995, during Question Hour in the Goa Legislative Assembly, the Law Department informed the House that, after Liberation, the entity continued to remain in force in the State of Goa. This statement was made in response to Starred Legislative Assembly Question No. 568 tabled by the late Shri Manohar Parrikar.
