Legislative diploma no. 1452 dated October 23, 1952

This Act was enacted during the Portuguese era and continued to remain in force in the State of Goa after Liberation, as confirmed by the Law Department during Question Hour in the State Legislative Assembly on 5 July 1995, in reply to Starred L.A.Q. No. 568 tabled by Late Shri Manohar Parrikar. The Act is listed at Serial No. 10 in Annexure I of the said reply. The document is a scanned copy from the Boletim Oficial, Series I, No. 43, dated 23 October 1952.
