Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973

(Central Act 2 of 1974)

The Code was enacted by the Union Government and came into force w.e.f.1-4-1974. Section 35 of the Code empowers to the State Government to make Rules, however presently the Rules are not yet framed by the Government of Goa.

• The Goa Victim Compensation Scheme, 2012. 
• The Goa Compensation Scheme for Women Victims Survivors of Sexual Assault other Crimes, 2018.
