Orphanages and other Charitable Homes(Supervision and Control) Act, 1960

 (Central Act No.10 of 1960 )  

It is extended to the State of  Goa by the Goa [Extension of the Orphanages and Other Charitable Homes (Supervision and Control Act) Act,1993 (Goa Act No. 15 of 1994), published in the Official Gazette Series –I No. 18 dated 4/8/1994 and came in to force at once,as provided in Sub section (2) of section 1 of the Act. As per provision of section 29 of the Act, the State Government is empower to make the rules, however presently the rules are not yet framed by the Government  of Goa.
