THE INLAND VESSELS ACT, 2021

 (Central Act No.  24 OF 2021)  

This Act is enacted by the Union Government, repealing Inland Steam Vessels Act, 1917 (Act No. 1 of 1917). Section 1 and 106 come into force w.e.f.16th February, 2022,, vide Notification S.O. 743(E), dated 16th February, 2022 and   the provisions of  section 2 to 105 and 107 to 114  came into force w.e.f. 7-6-2022. Vide Notification dated e 7th June, 2022 published in the Gazette of India PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii)
