Trade Marks Act, 1999

(Act No. 47 of 1999)

This Act came into force with effect from 15th September, 2003, while repealing the Trade and Merchandise Marks Act, 1958, which was extended to the Union Territory Goa, Daman and Diu [Law No.2] (Regulation 1963) and which was brought into force w.e.f. 1-11-1964  in the Union Territory  Goa, Daman and Diu   as notified by the  Lieutenant vide Notification dated 28th September, 1964 .
