Charitable and Religious Trusts Act, 1920   

 (Central Act 14 of 1920)

It is extended to the Union Territory Goa, Daman and Diu by the Goa, Daman & Diu (Laws) No.2 Regulation 1963 (Central Act 11 of 1963) promulgated by the President of India under Article 240 of the Constitution of India, published in the Government Gazette Series – I No. 22 dated 29/5/1964 and came in to force with effect from 1^st February 1965 as the date appointed by the Lieutenant Governor of Goa, Daman and Diu vide Notification published in the Government Gazette Series- I No.2 dated 14/1/1965.
