Chit Funds Act, 1982 

 (Central Act 40 of 1982)

This Act was enacted by the Union Government and came into force in the Union territory of Goa, Daman & Diu on 1st January, 1986, vide notification No. S.O. 910(E), dated 24th December, 1985, see Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, sec. 3(ii).
