Non-Biodegradable Garbage (Control)Act, 1996

 (Act No  5 of 1997)
 (Amended up to 2023)

The Act came in to force with effect from 1st day of January, 1998 in the areas falling within the jurisdiction of all the Municipal Councils in the State of Goa and all Panchayats located in the Talukas of Bardez, Salcete and Tiswadi of the State of Goa.
